Salutations! I am delighted you are here.

Sundae Matinee is a place where I plan to share my latest experiments, schemes and a sprinkling of sweet stuff. This is the place to keep tabs on your favorite old sport, Rosalie Kicks (me).

So… let’s tell you about this scheme I’m currently working on entitled:

To keep this short and sweet….

For the past 15 some odd years, I have been in a career that I never knew existed until I fell head first into it. Over this span of time, I have attempted to make it work and well, as they say, you can’t put a square peg into a round hole. To be absolutely postively perfectly honest: I have been unhappy. It is time for a change and I want to share this adventure with you.

Old sport, I am on the path to a reinvention of sorts and the reasons could not be more clear:

• I owe it to myself to try

• I am too rad to continue on this current path

• I am not getting any younger

• Nothing is permanent

• I don’t want to live in the land of shoulda, coulda, woulda

Of course I have fears. Any type of transformation to one’s life is scary. I try to remind myself that, this is why I am making detailed plans. In fact, starting this newsletter was one of my first tasks because deep down I know that I can’t embark on a thrilling escapade such as this without a cheering section.

At the end of this journey one thing is certain: I shall become film. Now, I am sure you’re wondering what exactly this means and wellllll… you’ll find out.

For now, I don’t have a set schedule for this newsletter other than that it will find its way to your inbox sporadically, but only on a Sunday afternoon. It will include updates on my escape plan as well as projects that I am currently working on. Essentially, a sprinkling of sweet stuff that I want you to know about.
